Help young people cross over from where they are to where they can go.

Founded by professional basketball player and Roxbury native Wayne Selden Jr., WSJ Crossover invests in underserved youth and families emotionally, educationally, socially, and physically.

We meet young people where they are and stay present as they grow—through mentorship, career readiness, wellness, life skills, basketball, and community programs that remove barriers and expand opportunity.

Guidance is the assist.
Greatness is the finish.

Every number has a name.

Since 2017, WSJ Crossover has created safe, joyful spaces where young people and families can connect, learn, move, and imagine more. The work stretches from the gym to the classroom to the neighborhood—and it grows through trust.

Home never left him.

Wayne Selden Jr.’s path—from Roxbury to Kansas, the NBA, and professional basketball around the world—was built on resilience, family, and people who opened doors.

WSJ Crossover is his commitment to hold those doors open for the next generation: creating structure, opportunity, and the steady belief that can change a young person’s path.
